Hitchcock's PSYCHO 1991 trade show poster - EXTREMELY RARE, only one made!

The poster was printed by Innovation Publishing for the 1991 San Diego Comic Con and other conventions for their show booths in the comic con circuit from around 1991-1993. It was to promote the upcoming 3-issue hand-painted comics adaptation I did of the famous PSYCHO film. It is actually a large photo print printed on heavy quality film paper stock. It is in good condition (see photos for details, any flaws), and has a little dirt stuck on in places which can be cleaned off. The poster comes unframed, the size is a large 30” wide x 37” tall.

The interesting thing about this one-of-a-kind piece is that it has the original Anthony Perkins face on it. I was asked to change all Anthony Perkins faces halfway through the creation of the art due to licensing issues between Anthony Perkins and Universal Studios. Shown in the last picture is the final cover with a different model used in place of Anthony Perkins. This print is a strong collector’s item and is part of the comics and film horror genre history.

The quality and accuracy of the photo print is quite good, I wish the comics themselves had looked that nice!
